Cull Canyon Training Ride Ending September 19 starting again sometime in Spring 2010
This is a short ride – 12 miles – but there is 500 ft of elevation gain on the way in. Once you turn around you have the option of practicing pacelining (if there are enough riders) or traveling at faster speeds and improving bike handling through the curvy course. Once you add these weekly rides to your schedule you will see marked improvement on your weekend rides. Meet at 5:45 pm, ride leaves 6 pm sharp in the upper parking lot at Cull Canyon Park. This is a left turn into staging area from Cull Canyon Rd. in Castro Valley. Rain cancels.

Announcing the Impromptu Rides
The Problem: Due to busy schedules, many people who would like to lead a ride cannot plan 1 or 2 months in advance in order to get their ride(s) into the newsletter. Nearly everyone enjoys watching their club mileage increase every month, however, you can only attain club mileage on “impromptu” rides, i.e., those that appear in the newsletter.
The Solution:
Announcing the Impromptu Rides. Here is how it works
